Mark lives in Bonners Ferry Idaho, creating functional driftwood art in his spare time.  He is retired from the US Air Force and spends winters snow boarding at Schweitzer Mountain.  After retiring he desired to work with his hands creating unique functional art.  He spent a year searching for that perfect niche.  On the shores of Lake Pend Oreille Idaho he discovered the lake's jewel, driftwood.  After experimenting with finishes and contour sanding Mark perfected his method and now enjoys creating unique functional art.
